Apple Dump Cake
2 cans apple pie filling 1/4 cup brown sugar 1 pkg. butter pecan cake mix 1 cup pecans; chopped 1 cup (2 sticks) butter Spread 2 cans of apple filling in a 12” Dutch oven. Sprinkle the sugar, then cake mix, then pecans over apples. DO NOT STIR. Slice thin the 2 sticks of butter and layer over top. Bake at 350 (8 coals on bottom 16 coals on top) for 45 minutes to 1 hour, replacing coals as needed. |
