1/2 cup butter 3/4 cup cocoa powder 1/4 cup vegetable oil 1 cup white sugar 1 cup brown sugar 2 tsp. vanilla 4 eggs 1-1/2 cup flour 1 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 cup walnuts, chopped 1/2 cup chocolate chips In a large saucepan, melt together butter, oil, and cocoa powder over low heat. Remove from heat. Stir in sugar and vanilla; blend well. Add eggs, one at a time. Mix in dry ingredients until just blended. Fold in nuts and chocolate chips. Spread batter in a greased and floured 12" Dutch oven. Bake at 350 degrees (17 coals on top; 8 on bottom) for 35-40 minutes. |
